Malaysia Corporate Identity Number (“MyCoID”) is the company registration number with Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) which is used as a single source of reference for registration and transactions purposes with other relevant government agencies like the Inland Revenue Board, Employees Provident Fund, Human Resources Development Fund, Social Security Organisation and Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation Malaysia. The MyCoID concept effectively phases out and eliminates the various serial numbers assigned by such government agencies for the purpose of public dealings and internal references.
The MyCoID was launched by Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak on 11 February 2010. The launching ceremony was attended by Malaysian cabinet members, heads and senior representatives of various government agencies, statutory bodies, representatives from professional bodies, chambers of commerce, industry leaders and representatives from the corporate and business sectors.
Representatives from MACS includes its President, Mr. Lau Haw Chong, Tn. Haji Osman bin Ujang (Deputy President), Mr. Tey Ping Cheng (Assistant Honorary Treasurer), Mr. Tan Beong Chu (Melaka/Muar Region Liaison Committee Chairman) and MACS members from the Klang Valley and Melaka/Muar Region.
